BACK TO NATURE

Ocra is a laboratory conceived to design environmentally friendly products, certified and hand-made in Italy.
Our motto is 'back to nature': we believe the time has come to live life in harmony with the environment around us. This is why we are fully engaged and truly want this project to succeed.
We moved on from one of the Earth's colours, the ochre (Ocra in Italian), to define a new way to think about fashion: old values such as respect for our land and cultural background is what this is based on. We like to call Ocra-Lab a 'tree-like' project, as it is born to sprout and grow season by season, naturally and healthily.

Our main concern is about kids' footwear, all hand-made by Italian craftsmen, with chrome- and pollutant-free tanned leathers. Soles are vegetal-tanned and the only plastic we use is recycled and 100% biodegradable.
Our Objective is to produce a Zero Impact shoe whitin december 2012. Follow us or, if you are a fashion designer, accept our challenge!
